During about 90 years of activity, more than 30.000 buses have trespassed the gates of the plant. These buses running across our towns, transported millions of passengers and contributed to the development of the public transport in Italy.
Now the Company covers a surface of 155.000 sqm whose 45.000 sqm are covered. The production activities as well as the assembly are carried out in the plant. The final test is performed by driving all the buses produced on the special track within the plant area.

DELIMAJAYA was established in 1975 with headquarter in Bogor, Indonesia. It is located in a 80,000 square-meter facility which accommodates the corporate and administrative offices, research and development, engineering, marketing and manufacturing operations, development training center, and product test facilities. e-Traction® Worldwide S.C.A., is a Luxembourg registered company with currently two wholly owned subsidiaries: e-Traction Europe B.V. and e-Traction North America, LLC. The commercial rights to the Intellectual Property generated by the company is being held by Freerider Ltd, a legally entirely separate and fully independent Cayman Island exempt company.

Though legally separated, e-Traction Worldwide S.C.A. and Freerider Ltd. are both managed by Peter le Comte as their respective Chief Executive Officer from their corporate office in the United States.

e-Traction Europe B.V. is generally serving clients within a 500 kilometer radius from its location in the Netherlands . In view of the available resources, all efforts have thus far been directed at this subsidiary in light of the imminent commercial break-through in the Netherlands, where heretofore the R&D had been concentrated and technical and commercial track record had been established during the more than 25 years of combined existence of e-Traction Europe B.V. and its predecessors.

GILLIG is the second largest producer of transit buses in North America and produces around 1,200 to 1,300 buses per year for hundreds of different customers, from Alaska to Florida.

Take for example their wide suspensions that achieve supple riding comfort, or their expansive loading capacity with ample passenger room, or the powerful performance of their engines that have been designed considering environmental friendliness. Even in the area of bus chassis development, the craftsmanship and philosophy that we have nurtured through the development of trucks help us achieve high levels of comfort and performance.

Hispano has transferred 13 electric vehicles ACE model with the intention of offering internal transport services within the EXPO area. ACE model has been developed by TATA Motors in India and these are the first prototypes running in Spain, although commercialization opportunities are been explored nowadays.

For this opportunity, Hispano has converted these electric ACE model for specific transport services for EXPOAGUA, concretely: 3 vehicles for health functions, 8 for goods transportation and other materials, and 2 vehicles for VIP personalities transportation services.

In regards to the technical specifications, ACE model has a range of 48kms, and a maximum speed is 40KM/h. The vehicle is charged through the standard electric net and its motor power is 5.2 Kw. Furthermore, it has a pay load of 500 kgs. One of the main characteristics is that the ACE model is RHD with the aim of increase the functionality of the vehicle and to help users to carried out much easier their activities.

With this action, Hispano and TATA Motors demonstrate its interest in new technology applications, it compromise with environmental care and their support in social events with high international impact such as EXPOAGUA Zaragoza 2008

In conventional drive systems, the mechanical energy developed by the internal combustion engine (ICE) drives the wheels through a transmission. Some of the energy delivered to the drive wheels is used for acceleration. When brakes are applied, the kinetic energy of the vehicle is converted mostly to heat in the brake pads, resulting in the wear and tear of the brakes and wasteful energy consumption.

Depending on the application, more than half of the energy delivered to the drive wheels is dissipated in the brake pads.

Hybrid Drive System

In hybrid drive systems, an electric motor is used to provide some (parallel hybrid) or all (series hybrid) of the power to the drive wheels. This lowers energy consumption and increases the efficiency of the electric power supplied by the electric motor, compared to the mechanical energy of a conventional ICE.

Hybrid drive systems can also recapture the kinetic energy converted to heat during braking, known as regenerative braking. The recaptured energy can be stored or used for acceleration. This energy “recycling” increases fuel efficiency and reduces wasteful energy consumption, also leading to lower emissions.
