Icsc - Electric Scooter Dealer.
Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (iCSC) is a non-profit group working on sustainable energy solutions and fair climate policy. iCSC is behind the Climate-Friendly Cities (CFC) initiative, which pioneered the eJeepney revolution and the move to integrate sustainable transport with clean energy generation. iCSC led the campaign that established the People’s Survival Fund, the country’s first direct access-driven financial mechanism dedicated to supporting the adaptation programs of local governments and communities. Sustainable Energy Solutions iCSC launched the electric jeepney revolution in July 2007. We have since marked a series of milestones: the first domestically manufactured eJeepney (2008), the first official registration papers issued to electric jeepneys (2008), the first public routes dedicated to electric public transport, called the Makati Green Routes (2009), the first electric vehicle charging station (2009) and the first e-vehicle battery-swapping program (2011). iCSC formed the private consortium which received the first commercial eJeepney fleet franchise in 2012. Our eJeepneys received the grand prize in the 2012 Inclusive Mobility Challenge organized by the Ateneo School of Government, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Metro Manila Development Authority. The eJeepneys also won the top transport solutions prize in a global contest run by the Ecopolis Program of Discovery Channel in 2009, the same year iCSC was awarded the Fr. Neri Satur Award for Environmental Heroism.
